Bruce Willis‘ health is reportedly in rapid decline. The “Die-Hard” actor’s battle with frontotemporal dementia has allegedly progressed. He has a point where he no longer recognizes some of the important people in his life. This includes his ex-wife, actress Demi Moore.
Bruce Willis Family Receives Sad Health Update
It is a sad time for the actor Bruce Willis and his family. They are dealing with a lot, according to new reports from The Blast. Things have taken a heartbreaking turn for those closest to him, especially his ex-wife and mother, to their three daughters, Demi Moore.
Demi Moore is reportedly devastated that Bruce no longer recognizes her at all. However, for the time being he still recognizes his wife, Emma Heming Willis, and his children. As previously reported by HND, in October Bruce and his family received more bad news. He also suffers from dementia.
Demi Moore Heartbroken
Sources close to Demi Moore reportedly said that the “St. Elmo’s Fire” actress faced a gut-wrenching moment recently. During a recent visit with her ex-Bruce Willis. She was hit hard when she realized he appeared to no longer recognize her.
Demi and Bruce were previously married for 13 years and share three daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah. Following their divorce, the former spouses have remained extremely close friends.
The inside source states, “Demi kept in touch with the kids and Bruce’s wife, Emma Heming.” Still, she had no idea Bruce, who has been battling frontotemporal dementia, which can lead to severe cognitive decline, personality changes, and mood swings, had gone so far “downhill.”
The source added that Bruce’s memory of Moore has faded, and “Demi could tell he really didn’t recognize her.”
Bruce Willis’s Family Stays Positive
The family of Bruce Willis first announced his retirement from acting in March 2022. Since then, they have made it a point to remain upbeat. However, as the disease progresses and Bruce’s health declines, it becomes more difficult for the family members.
For now, the insider reveals that Bruce still recognizes his wife, Emma, and his children. He expresses much joy when his daughter, Rumer Willis, visits with her new baby, Lou. They reveal the actor continues to experience physical decline and can become aggressive at times.

Emma spoke out during an interview in September on the struggles of dementia. She said, “Dementia is hard.” “It’s hard on the person diagnosed; it’s also hard on the family,” she noted, adding, “When they say this is a family disease, it really is.”
