Bucks Look To Bounce Back After Game 1 Loss To Hawks

After dropping Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals the Milwaukee Bucks are looking to bounce back and take Game 2. Former back-to-back NBA most valuable player award winner scored 34 points in Game 1 and is looking to do the same or better in Game 2.

On the other hand, “Trae Young was superb in Game 1, punishing the Bucks defense on repeat for the first three and half quarters. His influence was curtailed late in the game, however, with the guard launching a series of very deep threes and finishing 1-for-9 down the stretch,” according to NBA.com

If the Bucks want any chance of winning Game 2 they are gonna have to at least contain Trae Young as he scored 48 points in Game 1. Another key to winning Game 2 is to make the right plays and the Bucks have to take better shots late in the game.

Khris Middleton has been struggling at times. Milwaukee will also have to start making their shots. The theme in this year’s postseason is that they will eventually break out of their shooting slump but it has not happened yet. As they are actually shooting worse from behind the arc then in any other of their playoff series this year.

The Milwaukee Bucks will also have to adapt on the defensive end as Trae Young is far too crafty for the Bucks to stick to one defensive plan the whole game. Towards the end of game 1 the Bucks went with some small ball action that threw the Hawks off a little but Young soon found a way around that too. The Bucks will have to at least try something different in hope of stopping Trae Young or they are going to be looking at a 2-0 series deficit

Do not be surprised if Milwaukee comes out of the gates hard in Game 2 as we all know this team is very capable of winning and they showed that in the series against the Brooklyn Nets and the Miami Heat. Either way this is a very important game for either team as the Hawks look to take a commanding 2 game lead and the Bucks look to tie the series at 1. It should be very interesting to see how Game 3 goes down tonight as tipoff is at 8:30 PM Eastern Standard Time.
