Last night was Game 3 of the 2021 NBA Finals as the Milwaukee Bucks looked to win two games in a row and tie the series, the Phoenix Suns looked to steal a road win and take a commanding 3 games to 1 series lead. The Bucks owe this win to Khris Middleton for the most part as he was absolutely fantastic scoring a game-high 40 points also adding 4 assists and 6 rebounds.

Of course, he did not do it alone “Behind 40 points from Middleton, including 10 straight points over the final 2:07 to put the Bucks ahead for good, Giannis Antetokounmpo had an unbelievable block of Deandre Ayton at the rim to preserve a two-point lead with 74 seconds to go, as Milwaukee survived an instant classic in Game 4 of the NBA Finals, winning 109-103 over the visiting Phoenix Suns to even the best-of-seven series at two games apiece,” according to ESPN.

Antetokounmpo’s defense in Game 4 was nothing short of an all-time great performance and was one of the biggest reasons that the Bucks were able to even the series last night. Antetokounmpo alongside the amazing block had at least 3 key steals that led to easy points in transition to help the Bucks cut into the Suns’ lead. Jrue Holiday was also great in distributing the ball last night and ended the game with seven assists.

NBA Finals Back To Even After Game 4

During the course of the game, there was not a lot for Bucks fans to be very happy about as the Suns were able to open a 9 point lead at one point. But with Middleton leading the charge the Bucks slowly but surely clawed their way back. Of course, it helped that Devin Booker was in foul trouble but that is part of the game.

Game 4 was an instant classic and it had a little bit of everything in it from intensity to almost graceful ball movement. The series now shifts back to Phoenix Arizona for Game 5 on Saturday, July 17th as one team will be going up 3 games to 2 in the series and being one win away from that sweet NBA championship.

Game 5 will be a must-watch as all the momentum is in the Milwaukee Bucks’ favor and the Phoenix Suns will have to try to defend home court because if the Bucks win Game 5 they will have the chance to close the series out in Milwaukee where they have been close to unstoppable this year.
