So scary! “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” star Nicholas Brendon, who recently went to rehab for his issues, was caught on camera during a suicide attempt. The disturbing video is making its rounds online this week, and fans are so upset by Brendon’s break down.

According to Radar Online, the video shows Nicholas Brendon as he attempts suicide out on the street. The former “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” star is seen carrying a knife in his right hand and then viciously slashes his left wrist open not once, but twice. He then slouches on a nearby sidewalk until a passerby confronts him.

The terrifying incident took place in Saratoga Springs, New York in September duing a nine-day meltdown that came after years of Brendon making headlines for rehab stints, multiple arrests, and hotel room ruckuses.

Brendon Enters Rehab After Latest Break Down

After the breakdown Nicholas Brendon, who playd Xander Harris on “Buffy” took to his Facebook page to give a statement about his behavior. “My illnesses and addictions are a daily struggle for me… I’m the first to admit I’ve messed up, a lot, and I’ve hurt people I care about and who care about me.”

Us Weekly reports that Nicholas recently went to rehab for his mental health and addiction issues.

“I’m going to be going into a 90 day treatment program to fix myself and to understand the traumas of my mind,” the actor wrote in a post to his fans. He also promised to write again before entering treatment. If I can help just one person by sharing my struggles and how I’m battling them, then it’s all completely worth it,” he continued in a second status update. “It’s been bad for me the last three years, and I’ve had failed attempts at suicide. I really just want to live and love and be filled with joy.”
