Burt Reynolds’ health issues taken toll on aging sex symbol

Over the past few years Burt Reynolds has worried fans with his constant health scares including back surgery in 2009 and a quintuple bypass in 2010 that led many to believe that the aging former sex symbol was nearing his end.

The “Boogie Nights” actor also recently experienced some major financial setbacks forced to file bankruptcy in 1998, and in 2011 he was reportedly facing foreclosure on his Jupiter, Fla. home. “I think it’s a good time to find out what it’s all about,” Reynolds told Philly.com in an interview before the weekend gig. “I always enjoy talking to fans and I’m usually very pleased with their curiosity about my career, what I’m doing, what I’m not doing, and why I’m not doing more.”
