This week some very special Cleveland Cavaliers jerseys dropped called the NBA Remix jerseys. Each NBA team has a remix jersey and they are all designed by many different musical artists from that city. These special edition Cavs jerseys were designed by local rapper Scott Mescudi. Most know Scott as his stage name Kid Cudi. Mescudi first showed off the jersey in a music video for the rapper Young Thug and it quickly caught the attention of Cleveland fans and jersey collectors.

“In the music video, Kid Cudi can be seen wearing a Cleveland Cavaliers jersey that seems to feature the city’s skyline. When asked about the jersey on Twitter, he mentioned that he designed it and that it will be coming out soon.” according to a post by Cavaliers Nation.

Kid Cudi was born and raised in Clevland Ohio so it is not surprising that he reps the Cavaliers and all the other Cleveland teams. The new jerseys will show off the Cleveland skyline with a stary night sky as well as the words “chosen one” on the back. Unfortunately, the only number these limited edition jerseys come in is number one but that does not take away from how stunning they are.

The remix jerseys were on sale on the Cavaliers’ team shop but they sold out in minutes and as of right now the only place to get them is the Bleacher Report Shop. They are selling out fast though so make sure you grab your authentic Kid Cudi X Clevland Cavaliers NBA Remix jersey.

You can get a look at some of the new jerseys around the NBA on Bleacher Report’s Instagram @bleacherreport. Some other artists the NBA collaborated with were Chicago’s Juice Wrld, Detroit’s Eminem, and Houston’s Travis Scott. It will be very interesting to see if these will ever come back after they stop selling the jerseys or if they will get new artists eventually to make new jerseys.

Either way that is a very cool way to help connected artists with tier home towns even more and get the fans some sweet new jerseys. Make sure you get your jersey before it is too late and if you already have one congrats. Give it some time and these jerseys will be iconic and very valuable so do not miss out on this truly incredible opportunity to get yourself one. Time is running out very fast!
