Cher Accused of Hiring Men to Kidnap Troubled Son

Entertainment icon Cher has reportedly gone to great lengths to help save the life of her troubled youngest son, Elijah Blue Allman. Elijah is the son of Cher and the late Allman Brothers Band singer and songwriter Gregg Allman.

Cher & Gregg Allman’s Turbulent History

Cher and Gregg Allman were married for a brief period from June 1975 until January 1979. The couple’s quickie wedding nearly ended as fast as it started when Cher filed for divorce from Allman just nine days after they wed.

Cher filed for divorce because, according to UCR reports, she “found that Allman’s heroin and liquor problems were too much for her to handle.” In fact, she claimed Allman was “so high he didn’t even understand me” when she broke it off. Ultimately, that was just as well because she quickly ended up giving the marriage another chance.

During the short marriage, the couple broke up and filed for divorce several times before the arrival of their son Elijah Blue. By January 1979, they were divorced for the final time. “Deadweight starts out as dead weight and ends up just the same,” Cher shrugged. “I don’t know why I waited so long.”
Sadly, on May 27, 2017, Gregg Allman died at his home in Richmond Hill, Georgia, due to liver cancer complications at 69.

Cher Hires Men To Kidnap Son Elijah Blue Allman

New reports from the Daily Mail allege that Cher was forced to hire men to kidnap her son. The news was recently uncovered in divorce papers obtained by the website that states the “Believe” hitmaker was extremely concerned about her son Elijah’s health.

Cher’s daughter-in-law Marieangela King said in a declaration to a Los Angeles court hearing the couple’s divorce. It seems that Elijah was going through a tough time with drugs. It is no secret that the singer has admitted over the years that he first began using drugs at 11. He also acknowledged that he has battled a brutal addiction to heroin for many years.

Things began a significant downhill decline for Cher’s youngest son earlier this when it was reported that Elijah’s addiction was spiraling out of control. His marriage to Marieangela King was failing, and the couple had separated for several months. However, according to King, they were in the process of reconciling.

Cher became increasingly alarmed when photos of Elijah Blue Allman began circulating, revealing a disheveled shell of a man. One witness wrote about his state, saying, “At first he looked like he was dead. But he had, in fact, passed out,’ said a witness to his collapse. The staff picked him up and took him inside.”

Seeing her son in this state sent the worried mother into a panic. So, she decided to take the matter into her own hands, according to the court documents. King reveals in the legal papers that “On November 30, 2022, the night of our wedding anniversary, four people came to our hotel room and removed (Elijah) from our room,” she said. “I was told by one of the four men who took him that they were hired by (Elijah’s) mother.”

Elijah Blue’s Saving Grace

Marieangela King, Elijah’s wife, filed the court documents four days after Cher allegedly sent in the men to remove Elijah from the hotel. King states, “I am currently unaware of my husband’s well-being or whereabouts. However, she added that he was in ‘lockdown at a treatment facility that is undisclosed to me. I understand his family’s efforts to make sure he is well, and I want what is best for my husband.”

Elijah Blue Allman is reportedly back in rehab at an undisclosed location where he can receive the help he needs. So far, neither Cher nor her representative has commented on the matter. What do you think about Cher’s alleged drastic measures to save her son?
