Cheryl Burke is known for her hot dance moves on Dancing With The Stars. The professional dancer may have all the right moves in the ballroom. However, she’s been open about the mistakes she’s made in the past, which include struggles with alcohol and even relationship drama. Recently, Burke and her husband Matthew Lawrence, 42, divorced, and the actor began dating TLC singer Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas, 51.
Cheryl Burke and Matthew Lawrence first began dating in 2007. However, they split just one year later. However, in 2017, the duo reconnected and began dating yet again (via Us Weekly). In May 2018, the couple became engaged when the “Boy Meets World” actor popped the question. The following year, they officially walked down the aisle.

Burke and Lawrence were married for nearly three years when they decided to split. The Dancing With The Stars fan-favorite confirmed that she filed for divorce from the actor in early 2022.
“I know I have always said I’m an open book with you guys, I do strive to be, and in writing this I’ve realized there really isn’t an easy way to announce that my marriage is ending,” Burke told fans via social media at the time. “I hope you can understand that I will not be commenting any further at this time and am asking for understanding and privacy. Thank you all for all the kind words and support you’ve given me,” she added.
According to People, Chilli and Matthew Lawrence began dating just before Thanksgiving and were friends prior to their romance. In August they were photographed hanging out on the beach during a trip to Hawaii.

Over the holidays, Matthew Lawrence traveled to Atlanta with Chilli, where he met the singer’s family. It seems that the relationship could be serious, as Chilli’s rep, Christal Jordan says that the singer is head over heels for the former “Brotherly Love” star. “I’ve been with Chilli since 2005 and I’ve never seen her this in love. She is glowing. They are really cute together,” Jordan revealed.
Meanwhile, it seems that Cheryl Burke may not be thrilled about her ex-husband’s new romance. Shortly after the news broke of Matthew Lawrence’s relationship with Chilli, the Dancing With The Stars pro took to social media to share a cryptic message that appeared to be throwing shade (via Page Six). Burke simply posted to her Instagram story this week with a brief message that read “That was fast…”
Although Burke and Lawrence officially settled their divorce in September 2022, they continue to battle for custody of their beloved dog, Ysabella.
