Fans outraged over Ciara ten minute concert

“It’s just a lot of money for students and you expect someone to perform a good set,” a local university student, Emily, who didn’t want to give her last name, told Radio New Zealand News, about the $48 she paid to purchase her ticket. Some of Ciara’s fans forked out more than $100 for VIP tickets blasting the singer stating, “You don’t expect to pay money to see someone perform five songs. It’s just about a tenth of what you’d expect.”

Another angry fan describe the show revealing that cans were being thrown on stage and everyone in attendance was booing Ciara.

Event planners have announced to fans holding Ciara Meet & Greet tickets that they could expect a full refund, while they would be more than happy to negotiate refunds for other ticket holders.

Ciara later took to Twitter to address fans and the show’s late start.

“I am so happy I got to see my fans in New Zealand for the first time!” the Grammy-winning artist tweeted. “THANK YOU for rocking with me, despite the technical difficulties.”
We are not so sure that Ciara’s attempt at an explanation is going to fly well with fans, that mixed along with the negotiated refunds just seem insulting to all the fans that bought the tickets and planned an evening out.

What do you believe should be done to compensate fans for Ciara ten minute concert, should they be refunded and should Ciara be expected to do the show for free as a consolation?
