‘Cobra Kai’ Season 3 Spoilers: Secrets & Relationships Unfold

William Zabka poses as his 'Cobra Kai' character Johnny Lawrence.

Cobra Kai Season 3 trailer has just been released and Netflix fans are going crazy with anticipation according to Blasting News.  Viewers were left hanging and wanting more with the Season 2 finale. There were so many unanswered questions and possibilities for potential Season 3 plotlines.

Netflix subscribers awaiting ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 3

Netflix certainly hit the jackpot with Cobra Kai when the streaming venue decided to take over the karate series. The show skyrocketed earlier this year capturing the attention and hearts of many Netflix subscribers.

The streaming network couldn’t have picked a better time to premiere the series than during the Covid-19 quarantine lockdowns. While hundreds of thousands of people were advised to hunker down at home many became binge watching junkies to pass away the time.

Things we know. Season 2 got completely out of control when a high school like rumble went down between Johnny Lawrence’s Cobra Kai dojo and Daniel LaRusso’s Miyagi-Do Karate students.

Two students in particular engaged in a brutal face-off, Cobra’s Miguel and Miyagi’s Robby. These two boys definitely have it out for each other.

The intense battle took a horrific turn after Robby placed a killer kick on Miguel sending him flying over the school stairwell.

This left Miguel seriously injured and fighting for his life at the hospital and Robby being carted off by the police. Both Johnny and Daniel are feeling guilt and blaming themselves.

Making matters worse, Kreese appears to have brainwashed the Cobra Kai members into following his leadership instead of Johnny. “The only way to end this is by working together,” Daniel implores Johnny, teeing up their inevitable face-off with the Big Bad Kreese.

Season 2 left open a lot of possibilities about what we may see in Season 3. Let’s talk about potential spoilers. We know that Ali’s return is hinted at.

Will Johnny and Daniel end their long-running feud?

Should Ali return who will she be coming back for? We all know that both Johnny and Daniel have unresolved feelings for their high school love. However, Daniel is married. Ali’s return could lead to some major friction between Daniel and his wife Amanda. Things between them have been growing tense since Daniel started focusing on only his karate class. If Ali’s interest in Larusso is a romantic one it could be the final breaking point for Amanda.

Ali’s return could also put Daniel and Johnny’s team effort to take Kreese down in jeopardy. Here is where the plot could thicken. Daniel is also heading over to Japan in search of answers concerning Mr. Miyagi.

While in Japan Larusso comes in contact with a couple more people from his past. Kumiko and Choze, his love interest and enemy from Karate Kid 2. There will be some big secrets revealed not only about Mr. Miyagi but Daniel as well.

Kreese continues with his plans to reclaim power over the Cobra Kai dojo forcing Johnny out. Fans are going to see Johnny Lawerence take on an even bigger good guy role in season 3. Lawerence vows to help Miguel get back to normal, though it will be a long, hard road.

There will be plenty of action and a lot of twists and turns at every corner for each character. Netflix knows a goldmine when they see it and has already called for a Season 4. Just how long fans will have to wait between seasons is unknown.

Cobra Kai‘s 10-episode third season is set to premiere on Netflix, January 8, 2021.
