Cobra Kai Season 4 has officially started filming, and fans are dying to know what will happen. Although spoilers have been scarce, it seems that one major storyline of the new episodes will include the All Valley Tournament.
There is a lot riding on the tournament, as the lives of the students, sensei’s, and their respective dojos are all on the line depending on the outcome of the tournament.
Cobra Kai Season 4 promises to bring huge drama
As many fans will remember, Cobra Kai Season 3 ended with Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) and Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) combining their dojos in hopes of teaming up against their common enemy, John Kreese and Cobra Kai.
The three sensei’s fought in the season finale, but were stopped when Kreese’s newest student, Robby Keen, made it known that he planned to stay with Cobra Kai.
Kreese then told Johnny and Daniel that he would see them at the All Valley Tournament. He also promised that if Miyagi-Do or Eagle Fang beat his students at the tournament that he would leave town and call off his students.
So, who is the most likely to win the tournament? Let’s examine the possibilities.
Who will win the All Valley tournament?
Miguel is the reigning All Valley champ so he may have an edge. However, he has been through a lot since the last tournament, which included a severe spinal injury and temporary paralysis. He’s not currently in the best shape, but he still has his fighting spirit and tons of heart.
Robby seems like the other frontrunner. As Cobra Kai’s new star student, Robby knows what it takes to make it to the All Valley finals. He fought Miguel in the final match, but was defeated after suffering an injury.
Hawk appears to be another major contender to win the title. He kicked butt at the previously tournament, but couldn’t control his emotions and was disqualified during his match with Robby.
Could Sam or Tory take home the title?
Sam could also give the tournament a major dose of girl power by showing the guys what she can do. Her karate skills are strong, and she’s proven it multiple times.
Tory is another good option to take home the championship, and fans are fully anticipating seeing her and her bitter rival, Sam, duke it out during Season 4.
Some of the other students such as Burt or Dimitry could also make an impact during the tournament. However, it seems that there are only a handful of students that have a real shot to win it all.
In addition, Cobra Kai, Eagle Fang, and Miyagi-Do won’t be the only dojos at the All Valley. There’s always the possibility that a student from another dojo could win. (Remember Xander from Season 1’s tournament?)
