‘Cobra Kai’ Season 5 Spoilers: Creators Hint At Unexpected Events

The countdown is on to “Cobra Kai” Season 5. Fans of the “Karate Kid” sequel series are eagerly awaiting the upcoming season of the show. Recently, the Netflix series’ co-creator, Jon Hurwitz, took to social media to drop some major hints about Season 5.

According to Pop Culture, Hurwitz was ready to dish some details as fans asked him some big questions about “Cobra Kai” Season 5. During his question and answer session via Twitter, Hurwitz admitted that fans are in for a wild ride in the next set of episodes.

When asked if he could describe Season 5 in one word, Hurwitz replied, “unpredictable,” leaving fans wanting more. As for the relationship between Sam and Miguel, the creator hinted that there could be trouble in paradise.

“[The relationship is] in an interesting place entering S5,” he said. However, he did delight fans when he confirmed that viewers would see more of the fan-favorite character, Moon.

Cobra Kai Season 5 will have another epic season finale

When one viewer asked Hurwitz about “Cobra Kai” having a tradition of huge season finales, he promised that the trend would continue for Season 5. In fact, he revealed that the Season 5 finale would be “absolutely wild,” and “unlike any of our other finales.”

During the Season 1 finale, fans watched Miguel win the All Valley tournament, and in Season 2 the gang had an epic school fight. Season 3 brought another big fight at the LaRusso’s house during Christmas, and Season 4 was another All Valley tournament, where Tory and Hawk took home the trophies. So, what’s in store for the Season 5 finale? Hurwitz wouldn’t say, but he did confirm that “people get hurt” in the episode.

For fans who also feel that there are some unfinished business between Tory and Robby, Hurwitz admits that they will have screentime together in the upcoming episodes.

For fans wondering what the future of “Cobra Kai” has in store, they shouldn’t worry about the show ending anytime soon. The show’s co-creator Josh Heald told Screen Rant in December 2021 that there are definitely plans for more “Cobra Kai” after Season 5.

Cobra Kai Season 5 won’t be the last for the Netflix show

“We have more beyond Season 5. We are not writing to the end of the series in Season 5 right now. We can’t believe we’ve filmed two seasons of the show this year,” he said.

“In our minds, it’s crazy to believe how far ahead of the story we are than what the audience has seen so far. Season 5 is another enormous season with a lot of new flavors and a lot of things that you haven’t seen before yet on the show. And it’s not the end,” Heald added.

Fans can watch “Cobra Kai” Season 5 when it begins streaming on Netflix on September 9, 2022.
