Comedian John Pinette was found dead in a Pittsburgh hotel room. He was 50 years old.

The funnyman was best known for his stand-up comedy routines, and also for his role on the finale of TV’s “Seinfeld.”

John Pinette’s manager, Larry Shapiro, told The Wrap that the comedian suffered from a pulmonary embolism, which is a blood clot in the lung, although there has reportedly been no autopsy.

Aside from his work on TV in “Vinnie & Bobby” “Parker Lewis Can’t Lose” and “High Tide,” Pinette’s film credits include, “Junior” with Arnold Schwarzenegger, “The Punisher,” and “The Last Godfather.”

Colleagues of John Pinette offered their condolences online via Twitter.

Former “Sabrina the Teenage Witch” star CarolineRhea wrote, “I was so lucky to work so many gigs with John Pinette who was as kind as he was funny. So very sad for his family. Way too young.”

Larry the Cable Guy tweeted, “Just was informed a great comedian and buddy John Pinette passed away Saturday. Horrible news. Never failed to make us cry laughing.”
