Daisy Jones and The Six trailer and release date revealed

Daisy Jones & The Six TV Show: Trailer And Release Date Revealed

“Daisy Jones & The Six” has made waves among book lovers, who have come to adore author Taylor Jenkins Reid’s work. The writer is responsible for novels such as “One True Loves” and “The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo,” among others. Of course, “Daisy Jones & The Six” has a very different feel to it, as it’s about a rock band in the 1970s who go through many ups and downs.

The book gives off major Fleetwood Mac vibes as there are relationships within the band, conflict, and of course drug and alcohol use. The book has become a favorite among Jenkins Reid’s readers, and when it was announced that the novel was being adapted into a television series, fans were over the moon.

Daisy Jones & The Six release date revealed

This week, the first trailer for the show was revealed. The teaser showed the band on stage in front of a huge crowd. Daisy is seen preparing herself to sing as she looks fabulous in her 1970s wardrobe. Meanwhile, the story’s other main character, Billy, looks at her with a wink and a smile. While the trailer didn’t reveal much about how the TV show will play out, it did confirm the official release date for March 3. Otherwise, here’s what we know about the show.

The cast includes Riley Keough, the daughter of Lisa Marie Presley and Danny Keough (and granddaughter of the King of Rock and Roll Elvis Presley). Riley plays Daisy Jones, a wild and free singer who struggles with addiction and comes into her creativity while working with a band called “The Six.” This means that Riley knows a little something about being musical. Actor Sam Claflin, known for his work in “The Hunger Games” and “Me Before You,” stars opposite Keough as Billy Dune, singer and lead guitarist for The Six. The actor even learned to play guitar for the role while he quarantined during the COVID-19 lockdown of 2020, per Us Weekly.

According to a press release, “Daisy Jones & The Six” will include 10 episodes. In addition, actress Reese Witherspoon serves as an executive producer on the series, as her studio Hello Sunshine is involved in the project. Fans are thrilled about the show, and can’t wait to dive into the world of the 1970s rock era with the highly anticipated book adaptation.
