Not all Dancing With The Stars fans were happy to see this week’s eliminated contestant say goodbye. On Monday night, the ballroom traveled back in time to the 1980s as the stars dressed in vibrant colors and danced to the biggest hits of the decade.

Jesse Metcalfe eliminated during ‘DWTS’ 80s night

After every DWTS contestant performed, the bottom two were announced. After a judge’s vote, Jesse Metcalfe and his partner Sharna Burgess were eliminated from the competition.

During his dance, Jesse had a few miscues, earning a dismal score of 19 out of 30. However, he wasn’t the worst of the night. Actress Chrishell Stause also earned the same score for her her lackluster dance set to New Kids On The Block’s “The Right Stuff.”

However, Chrishell and her partner, Gleb, were deemed safe along with the night’s highest scorers such as figure skater Johnny Weir, who earned two 10’s and a nine from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli.

While Jesse has been struggling a bit over the past few weeks of competition, some fans that there were others on the show who deserved to be headed home before the former Desperate Housewives star.

Fans weren’t happy with Jesse & Sharna’s elimination

“UM WHAT?! Jesse Metcalf should’ve been saved tonight,” one person wrote via Twitter.

“Monica should have been in the bottoms 2. Those 9s were a fluke. Also, I called it. love Sharna but didn’t like Jesse Metcalf,” another wrote.

“Also sad Jesse Metcalf was voted off dwts because i was in love with his partner Sharna,” another tweet read.

“JESSE METCALF SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ELIMINATED!!!!!!” a fourth person stated.
“Aw Jesse Metcalf doesn’t get a few words after being eliminated?” remarked another viewer.
Fans have continued to speak out on everything Dancing With the Stars this season. From the new host, Tyra Banks, to the sometimes harsh judging, it looks like viewers will continue to weigh in on social media.
