Fan favorite series “Dancing With The Stars” officially said goodbye to professional dancer Cheryl Burke following Season 31 on Disney Plus. The dancer, performed her final routine during the Season 31 finale just before the winner of “Dancing With The Stars” was crowned. Now, rumors are flying that Cheryl may be moving to a new reality TV franchise as the star of “The Bachelorette, per Talent Recap.”

Recently, Cheryl Burke has been teasing fans about a new project that she has in the works. During her podcast “Burke In The Game,” she revealed that she has some irons in the fire, including a new television show that she may work on in the future.

“I do know once one door closes, I’m pretty sure, because it has to happen, another door opens,” the “Dancing With Stars” alum said on the podcast. Although Burke hasn’t confirmed anything, she has told her fans to stay tuned for an announcement. “There have been lots of interviews and auditions that I can’t necessarily tell you guys what it is, but it’s a very popular show that a lot of people have watched,” she said. “I don’t want to announce anything that hasn’t been official, but it is definitely in the works,” Burke stated (via Cheat Sheet).

This has led to a lot of speculation about Cheryl’s next move. Many believe that she might be leading the way as the next star of “The Bachelorette” in 2023. The dancer is currently single after splitting from her husband, former “Boy Meets World” star Matthew Lawrence. If Cheryl does join “The Bachelorette,” she would have an interesting story to tell. Not only would she be very well known to fans, but she would also be open about her struggles with alcohol addiction.

Will Cheryl Burke become a judge on DWTS?

There are many shows that Burke could be alluding to, and there have also been talks of her becoming a judge on “Dancing With The Stars” following the news of Len Goodman’s departure from the show. “I would love to still be a part of the family, I just would love a different role on the show, just like anybody after 26 seasons of having that same title,” she told Variety of moving to the judge’s panel on “Dancing With The Stars.”

Only time will tell when Cheryl Burke may pop up on our television screens again. It may be as a judge on “Dancing With The Stars” or as a woman looking for love on “The Bachelorette.” Perhaps we’ll see her on a different show.
