‘Dancing With The Stars’ news: Maks and Peta returning for Season 24!
“Dancing With The Stars” couple Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Peta Murgatroyd are officially returning for Season 24. The pair, who recently welcomed their first child together, son Shai, will be back in the ballroom, much to fans’ surprise.
According to OK! Magazine, Maks and Peta not only introduced the world to their new little bundle of joy during a recently appearance on “Good Morning America,” this week, they also made a very big announcement regarding “Dancing With The Stars.” The pair confirmed that they were both heading back to the reality dancing competition series for Season 24, even though it won’t be easy now that they’re parents.

“This is the only difficult part about coming back, because it’ll just time away from being around this little dude,” said Maksim Chmerkovskiy. “But like I said, I just want to make her [Peta] coming back and winning as difficult as possible. Somebody has to cause the competition.”
Meanwhile, Peta added that she’s a bit nervous and excited to return to “Dancing With The Stars” after giving birth. The blonde beauty says she hopes her partner will be understanding throughout the process. “I think it’s going to be okay. I’m going to take it slowly, and hopefully I have an awesome partner to go through this with.”
