Dancing With The Stars Didn’t Invite Cheryl Burke To Len Goodman Tribute

Dancing With The Stars” wouldn’t be the same without former professional dancer Cheryl Burke. The podcast host appeared on the reality TV dance competition series for several years and won two Mirror Ball Trophies in the process. During Season 31 of the show, Burke announced her retirement alongside head judge Len Goodman. Goodman and Burke both said their goodbyes in the finale. Sadly, Goodman passed away a few months later. Now, the show is set to pay tribute to the ballroom legend. However, Burke won’t be in attendance at the special event.

Cheryl Burke not invited to Len Goodman tribute

Cheryl Burke took to social media to share that she won’t be appearing in the special Len Goodman tribute episode. Shockingly, the professional dancer claims she was not invited to return to “Dancing With The Stars” for the tribute. However, she did admit that she’ll be sending her love from afar.

“For those of you asking if I’ll be a part of Len Goodman’s tribute next week on DWTS, unfortunately, I wasn’t invited,” Burke wrote via Threads. However, I’ll be there in spirit and can’t wait to cheer my former colleagues on! Sending love and light to everyone. 🤍🙏🏼 #riplen.” Sadly for Burke, this isn’t the first time that the show has snubbed her.

Dancing With The Stars passed up Cheryl as co-host

After announcing her departure from “Dancing With The Stars,” Cheryl Burke revealed that she would have loved to stay with the show in another capacity. After Goodman announced his retirement, Burke thought that she may make a good addition to the judges panel due to all of her experience. However, the show opted not to add another judge in the wake of Len’s exit and eventual death.

Meanwhile, Burke has also spoken out publicly about wanting to co-host the show with Alfonso Ribeiro. However, that role went to Julianne Hough instead. “They don’t see a place for me,” Cheryl previously said on Chris Jericho’s podcast “Talk Is Jericho.” Burke revealed that the show knew she wanted to move up the ranks.  “Whether that’s at the judge’s table or as a possible co-host, and that’s okay. I’m grateful, thank you for this experience, but I’m going to move forward,” she added.

More Dancing With The Stars Season 32 drama explained

Cheryl Burke’s snub at Len Goodman’s tribute is just the latest piece of drama surrounding Dancing With The Stars Season 32. Another pro dancer Sharna Burgess revealed that she expected to return to the show after giving birth to her first child. However, she was asked back. Meanwhile, Julianne Hough is said to be acting like a diva behind the scenes, which has caused issues as well.
