Dancing With The Stars” Season 22 officially has a winner, and it’s Nyle DiMarco. DWTS crowned it’s first ever def winner on Tuesday night, and fans were thrilled for Nyle and his partner, Peeta Murgatroyd.

Nyle DiMarco was the “Dancing With The Stars” fan favorite right out of the gate. His story touched the hearts of millions of viewers, who loved his positive outlook and confidence.

In his final dance with Peeta, Nyle earned a perfect score for his fusion dance, which was a combination of the Cha Cha and Tango. However, it was his freestyle dance on Monday night that had everyone talking.

Nyle DiMarco wowed fans as he danced to the song “Sound of Silence,” and performed a moving contemporary dance with Peeta Murgatroyd. The couple won over the hearts of the viewers and judges. Carrie Ann Inaba called the dance the best she’d seen in the 22 seasons of “Dancing With The Stars.”

DWTS Season 22 Is Officially Over

MMA fighter Paige VanZant and her partner, Mark Ballas, who celebrated his 30th birthday on finale night, came in second place after also earning a perfect score on their final dance, and “Good Morning America” meteorologist Ginger Zee ended up in third place with partner Val Chmerkovskiy.

During the “Dancing With The Stars” finale there was plenty of entertainment. Live performances as well as a special dance number from brother Val and Maks Chmerkovskiy.
