“Dancing With The Stars” fans have watched Harry Jowsey escape elimination week after week despite his constant presence at the bottom of the leaderboard. Some critics have suggested that the show has rigged the reality star’s safety. Now, the “Too Hot To Handle” star is speaking out.
Harry Jowsey hits back at Dancing With The Stars rumors
Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold have obviously been fan favorites on “Dancing With The Stars” Season 32. It is the fans’ votes that have been keeping them in the competition as the rest of the cast members score higher than them. Although Jowsey’s dancing and scores have improved, he’s still remained at the bottom of the pack when it comes to the judge’s scores.
During Whitney Houston night on “DWTS,” Barry Williams delighted fans. However, it was he and his partner Peta Murgatroyd who were eliminated. Some fans believed it should have been Jowsey and his partner (via The Sun), Rylee Arnold. Others even suggested that the show was rigged to keep Harry and Rylee safe.
Meanwhile, it seems that Jowsey isn’t taking the negative comments to heart. Instead, he shared a social media update to hit back at the haters. “Winners focus on winning and losers focus on winners,” he wrote.
DWTS Winner Bobby Bones has advice for Harry Jowsey
Despite some criticism, Harry Joswey and Rylee Arnold have a huge fan in former “Dancing With The Stars” champ Bobby Bones. The radio host previously won the show after being called out for his dance moves in comparison to his castmates. Now, Bones says that he thinks Jowsey could go all the way, just like he did.
“It’s championship time, baby, let’s go! I’ve been watching, I’ve been following you, I’ve been rooting for ya,” Bones told Jowsey in a video message, per Page Six. “I’m seeing you get some slack online and, yeah, welcome to the club, buddy. People hate us, ’cause they ain’t us, and they don’t work like we do,” he added.
Rylee Arnold reveals how thankful she is for the fan votes
Meanwhile, Rylee Arnold, who is in her first season as a pro on “DWTS,” says she loves that the fans continue to keep her and Harry Jowsey in the competition.
“For us, there is a lot of negative comments and a lot of people [saying] stuff, but obviously, we’re still here. So there’s a lot more positive out there and people who want us to still be in this competition,” she stated. “So I think we just need to hold on to those who keep wanting to see us and keep voting for us, because that’s what matters and that’s what’s going to drive us to be better and improve.
Can Harry and Rylee outlast Taylor Swift night?
Harry Jowsey and Rylee Arnold’s popularity among “Dancing With The Stars” fans may also have something to do with their connection to one another. The pair obviously have a great affection for one another. There have even been rumors that they’re dating.
Meanwhile, the couple’s next challenge will be getting past Taylor Swift night. They’ll have to outlast the remaining contestants, which include Ariana Madix, Jason Mraz, Alyson Hannigan, Charity Lawson, and Xochitl Gomez.
