‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 22: Best Premiere Ever?

“Dancing With The Stars” started off Season 22 with a bang on Monday night. Although the cast was criticized by many, the majority of the contestants came out ready and seemed in it to win it right off the bat.

‘Dancing With The Stars’ Season 22 Premiere The Best Yet?

The scores were pretty high for the “Dancing With The Stars” Season 22 premiere this week. The 7 and 8 paddles were getting a workout as judges Len, Carrie Ann, and Bruno were (mostly) very happy with what they saw in week 1 of the show.

Kim Fields, known for her roles on “The Facts Of Life,” “Living Single,” and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” and her partner Sahsa Farber came out swinging. Kim scored a 20 out of 30 and seemed extremely happy with her scores for the Cha Cha she danced.

Paige Van Zant, the 21-year-old blonde beauty UFC fighter strutted her stuff while dancing the Fox Trot with partner Mark Ballas. She was elegant and refined and earned herself a 21/30.

“Fuller House” star Jodie Sweetin was probably the early favorite among “Dancing With The Stars” fans before the show aired. She and her partner Keo Motsepe danced the Tanger and Jodie tore up the floor. The fans loved it and the dance earned her a 20/30.

Donald Trump’s ex-wife, Marla Maples danced a Quickstep with her partner Tony Dovolani and earned praise from the judges, and her partner who hasn’t had the best of luck in recent years. Marla scored a 21/30.

Boyz II Men singer Wanya Morris lit up the ballroom with his partner Lindsay Arnold. The pair danced a Cha Cha to his own song “MotownPhilly,” and scored the amazing score of 23/30.

New mom, and news anchor, Ginger Zee landed Val as a dance partner and it seemed to pay off. Ginger totally stunned fans with her high energy performance also earning a 23/30.

Nyle DiMarco Steals The Show During ‘Dancing With The Stars’ Premiere

Pittsburgh Steeler, Antonio Brown, also had a great “Dancing With The Stars” debut. He and Sharna Burgess danced their way to a 21/30 doing the Quickstep.

Current Superbowl MVP, Von Miller of the Denver Broncos, was the last to take a turn in the ballroom also earning a 21/30 with his partner Witney Carson after dancing a Fox Trot to “My House” by Flo Rida.

However, model and former “America’s Next Top Model” winner Nyle DiMarco stole the show! The model, who is completely def and has his trusty interpreter with him at all times completely shocked and amazed everyone. Even though he couldn’t hear any of the music or directly talk to partner Peta Murgatroyd he gave the most riveting performance which earned him a 23/30, tying him with a few others at the top of the leader board.

Unfortunately, not everyone had the best “Dancing With The Stars” debut. Former NFL player Doug Flutie, award-winning journalist Geraldo Rivera, and actress Mischa Barton found themselves at the bottom of the leader board with scores of 15, 13, and 16 respectively.

Someone will go home next Monday on “Dancing With The Stars,” be sure to tune in to ABC to find out who.
