Danica McKellar breaks rib: Actress faces ‘DWTS’ competition setback
Dancing with the Star’s Danica McKellar injured herself practicing for DWTS breaking a rib.
The former “Wonder Years'” star tweeted to fans earlier today about her injury and the disappointing setback following last week’s near perfect score.
Danica McKellar tweeted, “So… I broke a rib in yesterday’s #DWTS rehearsal. Trying my best to pull thru and could use your prayers!! #wanttokeepdancing.”
Are rough times ahead on “DWTS’ for Danica and Val?
It is more than obvious that Danica is really disappointed and is hoping that this injury will not jeopardize her and pro partner Val Chmerkovskiy’s shot at the Mirror Ball Trophy in Season 18 of the popular Dancing With the Stars competition.
Danica is best known for her long running role as Winnie Cooper on the 80 hit “The Wonder Years,” but is also a published author of four non-fiction books:Math Doesn’t Suck, Kiss My Math, Hot X: Algebra Exposed and Girls Get Curves: Geometry Takes Shape, which encourage middle-school and high-school girls to have confidence and succeed in mathematics.
