Big news out of the NBA for Cleveland Cavaliers’ fans as their starting point guard is now an NBA All-star. Last night at 7 o’clock the 2022 NBA All-star reserves were announced and who better to be named as one than Darius Garland.

Garland is having an incredible year so far and he deserves every drop of respect he has gotten from other players to his teammates, form fans, and even some NBA executives. Darius Garland in only his third year in the association has proven that he is a top point guard in the Eastern Conference and definitely one of the best players if that the best player in his draft class.

Unfortunately, the Cavaliers’ star big man Jarrett Allen, who is having a career season did not make the All-star game reserve list but being the kind person he is still happily celebrating Darius Garland in his momentous accomplishment.

Darius Garland will be the first Cavalier to be named an All-star since LeBron James and Kevin Love in the 20-17-2018 NBA season. It is a true shame that Jarrett Allen did not get in but he could still be named a reserve for an injured player like Kevin Durant who will not play in the All-star game due to an MCL sprain. Either way, Cleveland is very proud of Allen and Garland, as well as the entire team, and we all, hope we can come out of the All-star break on a warpath to the number one seed in the least.
