David Hasselhoff‘s ex-wife, Pamela Bach, has died by suicide. The actress was just 61-years-old. Hasselhoff and Bach both starred in the former hit TV series Baywatch. The pair shared two children together, daughters, Taylor, 34, and Hayley, 32. Bach was allegedly found dead at her Los Angeles home due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The news of her suicide is shocking and sad for her family, friends, and fans. Now, Hasselhoff is speaking out about the tragedy.

After the news of Pamela Bach’s suicide was revealed, fans immediately began to send their love and support to David Hasselhoff and his family. In addition to their daughters, the pair also have a granddaughter named London whom the actress preceded in death.

“Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff,” David and the Hasselhoff family state via a statement. “We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time but we kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time.”

According to The Daily Mail, the most horrific part of Bach’s death may be the way she was found. The outlet reports that one of Pamela’s daughters discovered her after her death and was crying and screaming as paramedics came to collect her mother.

“She was hysterical, yelling, screaming, crying on the street. She was crying, saying ‘I just want to get my car,'” a neighbor revealed. “A little later, she came out with police. I heard her crying and somebody was trying to comfort her. Police tried to bring her in the house and close the door, but the door got opened. She was in and out a few times,” the witness continued. “We couldn’t see what was going on in the house, but when she came out she was crying like crazy.”

Pamela Bach’s last social media post showed her looking happy as she wished all of her fans and followers into the new year. Bach revealed that she was grateful for for her loved ones, including her granddaughter.

“How traumatic for her. Terrible,” one person commented.

“How sad all around,” another said.

“That poor girl I can’t even imagine how that’s going to affect her for the whole rest of her life what a horrible thing to discover,” a third person wrote.

“This is awful. I feel for her daughter, that’s a scene you never want to walk in on and would never be prepared for in your wildest nightmare,” a fourth comment read.

Meanwhile, David Hasselhoff has yet to make any personal or public remarks about the passing of his former wife, Pamela Bach.
