“Days of Our Lives” has become the soap opera that is known for bringing multiple characters back from the dead. Seriously, it seems everyone in Salem has been resurrected at one time or another. So, it’s not shocking to think that more dead characters are on their way back to the sudser. However, there is one character that is rumored to be making a huge return and it’s going to cause major chaos for several Salemites.
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest a shocking resurrection is in the works
“Days of Our Lives” speculation reveals that none other than the late Abigail Deveraux DiMera may be returning to the land of the living. Of course, Abby’s return to Salem would be intense and shocking for fans. Meanwhile, no one would be more shocked than her husband, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Chad has painfully moved on with his life and is now in love with Abby’s first cousin, Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein). “DOOL” rumors have Chad and Stephanie ready to tie the knot, and Abigail coming back just in time to cause a wedding day disaster.
Chad and Stephanie have become a beloved couple in Salem. Of course, Chad and Abigail are an iconic duo with a very long history. The two fell in love at a young age and have been through some very tough times together. Chad stood by Abby during her mental health and split personality issues. The couple also share two young children together, Thomas and Charlotte. It seems that they belong together, but Abby’s possible return might not be what fans imagine it to be.
DOOL drawing inspiration from an old Bo and Hope storyline?
There’s a great chance that if “Days of Our Lives” were to bring Abigail Deveraux DiMera back to Salem, they may draw inspiration from a former storyline involving Bo and Hope Brady. Longtime fans know that Hope was presumed dead when Shawn was a young child. Bo was forced to raise their son as a single father, much like Chad is doing now. Meanwhile, Bo ended up falling in love with Carly Manning. After that romance dramatically fizzled out, Bo moved on to Billie Reed.
Bo and Billie were a great couple. They were a good match and loved each other very much. However, soon after getting married, Hope returned to Salem. Of course, there was a twist. Hope didn’t remember anything about her life before and instead was brainwashed to believe she was an art thief named Princess Gina. Bo and Billie went ahead with their relationship until it was discovered that Gina really was Hope. Ultimately, Bo and Hope got back together, and Billie was left heartbroken.
Sadly, a similar “Days of Our Lives” scenario could end up happening between Chad, Stephanie, and Abigail. This would leave Steph out in the cold and open to a new relationship with any of Salem’s eligible men, such as Brady Black, Alex Kiriakis, EJ DiMera, Stefan DiMera, and others.
