Is Holly Jonas the new Sami Brady?
According to the latest “Days of Our Lives” spoilers, Sami Brady may be gone from Salem. However, her tragic love life remains memorable to viewers. Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) may just be the soap’s newest bad girl. Holly is an important legacy character, born to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian). She has her mother’s knack for getting into trouble. However, she’s reminding many fans of a young Sami instead.
Currently, Holly is obsessed with her step-brother, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman). Johnny is not only older than Holly, but he’s also very much taken. Johnny is currently head over heels with Chanel DuPree (Raven Bowens). However, that’s not stopping Holly from trying to break up the pair and take Johnny for herself.
For many “Days of Our Lives” viewers, this may sound a bit familiar. In the 90s, Sami went to wild lengths to break up her sister, Carrie Brady (Christie Clark), and her boyfriend, Austin Reed (Austin Peck), due to her obsession with Austin. Now, is the soap opera resurrecting this Sami storyline for a new, youthful twist?
DOOL speculation: Will Holly get pregnant in hopes of trapping Johnny?
The latest “Days of Our Lives” speculation suggests that Holly will stop at nothing to get Johnny’s attention. She may even figure out a way to trap him with a pregnancy. In the past, Sami did this when she became pregnant with Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) baby. Instead of telling the truth, she drugged Austin and made him believe that their night together resulted in a pregnancy. Sami even got Austin to marry her.
During that time, Sami enlisted her best friend, Lucas, to help break up Carrie and Austin. These days, it’s Holly asking her new buddy, Tate Black (Jamie Martin Mann), for help in splitting up Johnny and Chanel. Will history repeat itself in Salem?
Could Holly and Tate be heading into a similar fate as Sami and Lucas?
“Days of Our Lives” likes to revisit storylines. Of course, the Sami, Lucas, Austin, and Carrie relationship drama was huge for the soap in the 90s. Maybe the show could strike gold a second time with Holly, Tate, Johnny, and Chanel?
It certainly seems like Holly and Tate could be endgame in Salem as they continue to age. Of course, fans can’t wait to see how it all plays out for the young characters.
