Days of Our Lives” fans have grown used to seeing characters exit and return to Salem. The soap opera is a revolving door when it comes to casting. There are times when it seems all of our favorite characters are in Salem entertaining us. Then, there are times when it appears the sudser is cleaning house. Sadly, this looks to be one of those times as several cast members will be saying goodbye in the near future. Murder may even be on the horizon! Let’s break down all of the exits and speculation.

days of our lives belle and gabi

Camila Banus and Martha Madison have confirmed their Days of Our Lives exits

Unfortunately, two of Salem’s most beloved women, Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) are on the way out. Both actors have announced their exits from the show. For Madison, she revealed that she was unhappy with Belle being a side character. As a legacy character and the only child of iconic super couple John and Marlena, Madison felt that Belle deserved better. So, she decided to move on. Rumor has it that Belle may meet a tragic end.

Meanwhile, Banus is departing “Days of Our Lives” after 13 years in the role of Gabi. Banus previously revealed that she was looking to expand her career as well as start a family with her husband. Looking to the future, she wants to start a new chapter in her life, and that sadly means leaving the soap behind her, for now.

Chloe Lane may be leaving Salem with a new man

Currently, Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) is engaged to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). However, her former love, Philip Kiriakis (Jean-Paul Lavoisier), is back in Salem. It’s clear that Xander and Chloe aren’t going to last due to Sarah’s big baby secret. In addition, it looks like Chloe and Philip are still super into each other.

We know that Philip is leaving, as Lavoisier was only brought back for a 13-episode arc. So, when he leaves Salem again, it’s a good possibility that Chloe could go with him. “Days of Our Lives” speculation is that Bjorlin is exiting the sudser again, and having her skip town with Philip would be the perfect way to write her off until her next return.

Talia is out and Gwen could be next

“DOOL” fans have seen characters come and go quickly, but Talia Hunter may be one of the quickest to ever leave the soap. The show set up Talia to wreck Chanel’s life only to become a love interest for her. Then as quickly as the two got together, Chanel changed her mind and opted to return to her former husband, Johnny DiMera. Talia was left out in the cold and eventually had a torrid hookup with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). It’s already been confirmed that Talia’s left Salem, and sadly, a fan-favorite could be right behind her.

Rumors have been working overtime that Emily O’Brien’s character, Gwen, is set to exit Salem. Fans have grown to enjoy Gwen after she came to town and dropped the bombshell that she was Jack Deveraux’s long-lost daughter. She’s been a huge part of several storylines, including Abigail’s murder. However, she may now be ready to get revenge on her lying and cheating husband, Dimitri, steal his fortune, and skip town.
