“Days of Our Lives” fans have seen dozens of murders in Salem over the years. Of course, it’s always fun to speculate about who did it and why. Most recently, Abigail Deveraux DiMera‘s murder shocked soap fans when it was revealed that she was killed by Clyde Weston for basically no reason. However, the latest fall spoilers reveal yet another murder mystery. Here’s what we know.
Gabi Hernandez looks like the main suspect
The new “Days of Our Lives” fall and winter promo promises big drama. One of the most shocking moments from the preview involves Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). In a clip, Gabi is seen standing over a bloody body. Although the person’s identity isn’t revealed in the promo, fans strongly believe that the murdered character is none other than Gabi’s ex-husband Li Shin.
Gabi is seen kneeling over the body as her husband Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) walks in to find the frightening scene. “He’s dead,” Gabi tells Stefan as she holds a bloody knife in her hands. At first glance, it may seem that Gabi is to blame. She and Li had bad blood due to his part in keeping Stefan away from her. However, she did love him once, and it seems a bit of a reach to believe that she would murder him. Although Gabi does have a history of murder. She previously served prison time for shooting and killing Nick Fallon.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Is Li Shin the murder victim?
Another hint that Li Shin is the character who is murdered is a quick glimpse of his sister, Wendy Shin, looking shocked and horrified. Wendy appears to walk through the door of her apartment, and she may find her brother dead on the floor. So, who would want Li dead? Other than Gabi, there are a few other suspects to consider.
Li has previously been in a romantic relationship with Melinda Trask. “Days of Our Lives” viewers know that Melinda has been helping Sloan Petersen keep some major baby secrets from EJ DiMera, Nicole Walker, and Eric Brady. If Li finds out about Melinda’s devilish deeds, she may have killed him to keep him quiet about her involvement. Clyde may also be to blame for the murder. With a history of terrible crimes, Clyde is currently blackmailing Ava Vitali. He may have sent someone to Wendy and Tripp’s apartment looking to hurt Ava’s son, Tripp. However, that person may have found Li instead.
The latest “Days of Our Lives” spoilers won’t take long to play out. However, it appears that one Salemite will be lost forever. Perhaps this storyline will also explain why Gabi Hernandez is also on the way out.
