This time around, two new/old Salem characters will be back in town and ready to stir up some brand new drama with what is sure to be some exciting storylines. The huge casting news has finally been confirmed, and viewers will soon see much older versions of Tate and Holly on the beloved soap opera.
Days of Our Lives casting news: Jamie Martin Mann cast as Tate Black
According to Soap Opera Digest, “Days of Our Lives” has announced that it’s planning to rapidly age both Tate Black and Holly Jonas. The move is common on soaps and gives fans new and exciting storylines to look forward to. This week, it was revealed that actor Jamie Martin Mann will be taking over the role of Tate Black. Meanwhile, actress Ashley Puzemis is stepping into the shoes of Holly Jonas.
Mann is a Connecticut native who has landed the role of Tate Black on “DOOL.” The actor has previously starred in the Netflix musical series “Country Comfort,” which co-starred Katherine McPhee and Eddie Cibrian. He’s also had roles in several stage productions. His interests and skills include tennis, guitar, biking, skiing, swimming, and more. He also considers himself a huge animal lover.
Ashley Puzemis steps into the role of Holly Jonas
“Days of Our Lives” viewers will also see Ashley Puzemis step into the role of Holly Jonas. She’s previously had roles in shows like “Danger Force,” “The Sex Lives of College Girls,” and “BF for Hire.” The Michigan native moved to LA to pursue her acting acting career and is now enterting the soap opera world.
“Ashley is persistent in working to perfect her acting skills and further her craft. Aside from enjoying all aspects of the entertainment industry, Ashley likes going to the movies with her family and spending as much time as she can outdoors, her IMDb bio reads. “She enjoys going on walks with her rescue husky, going to the beach, and going on spontaneous adventures to take photos. Here’s what’s in store for Tate Black and Holly Jonas
Tate Black is the son of Brady Black and Theresa Donovan. He started off life in a strange way as Theresa’s embryo was stolen from her body by Kristen DiMera. Kristen carried and gave birth to Tate before Brady and Theresa were finally reunited with him. The couple fought for custody of the little boy before Brady eventually agreed to allow Theresa to take Take to California. Now, he’s returning to Salem as a teen and is sure to stir up drama.
Meanwhile, Holly Jonas is the daughter of Nicole Walker and the late Daniel Jonas. She was also brought into the world in a strange way. Chloe Lane served as a surrogate for the couple, but kept Holly’s parentage a secret until after her birth. She and Nicole later fought for custody of Holly before Chloe handed the baby girl over to her biological mother.
Both Tate and Holly will begin airing on “Days of Our Lives” the week of October 9, so fans won’t have to wait long to see the characters back in action.
