Days of Our Lives fans grossed out by Brady’s connection to Kristen DiMera
If you haven’t watched “Days of Our Lives” for decades like some fans, you might be shocked to learn that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) have a very long history together. Long before Brady and Kristen were romantic partners and co-parents to their daughter, Rachel Black, they had a very different relationship.
When Kristen first came to Salem (played by actress Eileen Davidson), she was interested in Brady’s father, John Black (Drake Hogestyn). The two had a heated romance and even became engaged. Kristen even carried John’s baby for a short time before she lost the pregnancy. Of course, all of this happened after Brady’s birth, making Kristen his stepmother figure for a period of time when he was very young.

Resurfaced clip has DOOL fans feeling uneasy
In a newly resurfaced “Days of Our Lives” clip posted on Twitter, a very young Brady is seen sitting on the ground crying because he dropped his ice cream cone. Seconds later, an adult Kristen rushes over to him. She picks him up, ready to comfort the little boy through his tears. While the scene shouldn’t unlock an ick for fans, knowing the pair’s history certainly had fans feeling uneasy looking back to the 1994 clip.
“Aww, 30 year old Kristen and 3 year old Brady. LMAO,” one fan tweeted. “Now they have a child. This is wild lol everytime I see it it’s like the first time lol,” another commented. “The writers are horrible these days,” a third person stated.
“Days of Our Lives” and other soap operas are notorious for rapidly aging characters. These days Brady and Kristen are nearly the same age, and have a child together. Their tumultuous relationship has taken center stage in Salem. However, many fans have grown to love the drama they bring to the show. However, others can’t help but be reminded of their twisted history.
