“Days of Our Lives” fans have recently seen a lot of cast exits. However, one of the most devasting has been that of Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus). Now, the future of Gabi’s loved ones, especially her husband Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) hangs in the balance.

With Gabi out of the picture, what will Stefan do? “Days of Our Lives” fans have seen Stefano DiMera’s namesake turn to the dark side on several occasions. His criminal activity could certainly ramp up in the absence of having Gabi to distract him. However, he may find a steamy new love interest as well.
As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, “DOOL” spoilers suggest that Gabi and Stefan may be headed for divorce. Because Gabi is in prison for the murder of Li Shin (Remington Hoffman), she might serve Stefan with divorce papers. Gabi loves Stefan more than anything, and she will want him to be happy. If that’s the case, he’d be free to move on to another romance. But, who will be his next love interest?
There’s a good possibility that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) could be on Stefan’s radar. Currently, Ava is being forced to work with Clyde Weston (James Read). However, if and when Stefan gets involved with the shady business dealings, he and Ava may be spending a lot of time together. Of course, Ava is currently getting close with Harris Michaels (Steve Burton), and a love triangle could be brewing.
DOOL knows how to do a love triangle
Over the years, “Days of Our Lives” viewers have seen plenty of amazing love triangles. Who could forget the tension between Bo Brady, Billie Reed, and Hope Brady? Sami Brady, Austin Reed, and Carrie Brady also had an epic love triangle going. Will Horton, Paul Narita, and Sonny Kiriakis served as the soap opera’s first same-sex love triangle.
Love triangles date back to the beginnings of the sudser. Characters like Maggie Horton, Mickey Horton, and Laura Horton were involved in the scandalous relationship drama. Even Doug Williams was once torn between Addie Horton and her very own daughter, Julie Williams.
Will Ava, Stefan, and Harris be a love triangle to remember?
Stefan and Gabi will always be one of fans’ most beloved Salem couples. However, they haven’t had the time to quite reach super couple status. That’s been reserved for iconic characters like John and Marlena, Steve and Kayla, and Bo and Hope.
However, “Days of Our Lives” viewers are always down for some steamy relationships and juicy drama. Only time will tell if Stefan, Ava, and Harris will become a love triangle to remember. Either way, it should be fun while it lasts.
