“Days of Our Lives” has been dancing around a shocking secret involving the late Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston). This week, that secret has been revealed, but fans aren’t happy about it. Over the past few weeks there have been several rumors regarding Victor’s secret life. Theories have included his daughter Isabella Toscano being alive, Xander being his biological son, and even Justin Kiriakis being Victor’s child. However, fans weren’t prepared for the real story.
Days of Our Lives shocker: Alex Kiriakis is revealed to be Victor’s biological son
“Days of Our Lives” fans are about to go on a rollercoaster of emotions with the Kiriakis family. After Victor’s brand new will is found, it will confirm that Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) is his biological son. Alex has always been through to be the son of Angelica Deveraux and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), as well as the brother of Sonny Kiriakis (Zach Tinker). Sadly, that’s not the case. Instead, the will reveals that Victor fathered Alex.
“It’s such a huge plot twist,” Wilson told Soap Opera Digest about the storyline. “Obviously, it’s going to change the dynamic within the family and the power within the business,” he added. The news not only makes Alex the half-brother of Philip, but also heir to the Titan legacy in a way he never was before.

Robert Scott Wilson weighs in on Alex’s new reality
Of course, the big “DOOL” reveal also brings heartache with it. Alex believed Justin to be his father for decades. Now he has to come to terms with the fact that he’s not his biological dad, and that his real father, Victor, is dead. “Justin is very much like, ‘I’m still your father. I’m still this presence in your life,'” Wilson said during his interview. Wilson goes on to reveal that Alex will be more eaten up by the fact that he had been lied to his entire life.
Meanwhile, the big reveal has a lot of “Days of Our Lives” fans unhappy. Of course, after the news hit, viewers took to social media to weigh in with their thoughts on the shocking plot twist.
DOOL fans react to Victor’s secret son
“Such a hack move. Loathe this so much. Why are they doing this to Justin… first Adrienne and now his son. Loathe this so much. Poor Justin,” one fan tweeted. “They don’t know what to do with this character/actor since Ciara character left,” another commented. “Why???? Alex should not be Victor’s. Why take that away from Justin. If anyone it should be Xander,” a third person wrote. However, not all fans were furious about the move. “So Alex is Bo and Philip’s brother, Brady’s uncle and by extension Ciara’s great uncle now… I do love a good mix up… This could be good,” said the viewer.
It’s going to be a wild ride to unpack all of this drama, and it’s sure to end up having a huge impact on many in Salem. Although some fans don’t like it, perhaps the move will be just the twist “Days of Our Lives” needs to bring raise the bar a bit.
