Days of Our Lives has set up some shocking plot twists in the past. However, there is speculation that they might be ready to rewrite history with a stunning new storyline that would surely anger many viewers.
Is Days of Our Lives changing Holly’s paternity?
Recently, “Days of Our Lives” rapidly aged Nicole Walker’s daughter, Holly Jonas. The character is now a sassy teenager with a crush on Johnny DiMera and a knack for finding trouble. She’s also been getting close with Brady Black and Theresa Donovan’s son, Tate Black. However, Holly might be getting sucked into a much more dramatic plot twist as fans get to know that character.
“DOOL” rumors and spoilers suggest that the show may actually change up Holly’s backstory, and switch up her paternity. Longtime fans know that Holly is the daughter of Nicole and Dr. Daniel Jonas. However, Daniel tragically died in a car accident caused by a drunk Eric Brady. His heart went to Brady Black and later, Holly was born. However, the speculation claims that the sudser may drop the bombshell that Eric is actually Holly’s bio dad. Of course, that seems crazy given the way Holly came into the world.
Holly was born when Chloe Lane acted as a surrogate for Nicole
Over the years, Nicole had a lot of pregnancy issues. While engaged to Daniel, the couple tried to have a baby together. However, they were unsuccessful. That’s when Daniel’s ex-wife, and Nicole’s best friend Chloe Lane stepped up. Chloe agreed to be a surrogate for the couple.
Sadly, after Daniel’s death, it seemed that Nicole’s life was destroyed. Nicole has unfortunately had a terrible love life! Chloe then took it upon herself to use Nicole and Daniel’s embryos to try to get pregnant with their child. She did so, and Holly was born after Daniel’s death.
Is Daniel Jonas’ legacy diminished?
If “Days of Our Lives” were to change Holly’s paternity now they’d have to explain how Eric could possibly be her father. Did Eric and Nicole have embryos together at some point? In addition, scraping Daniel as Holly’s father seems to diminish his legacy in Salem.
Although the wild twist would certainly be dramatic to watch play out, many fans would seemingly be furious about the show rewriting Holly’s history. However, “Days of Our Lives” has become known for pushing the envelope and taking some crazy risks when it comes to their plots, casting, and more. So, why would this be any different?
