‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Belle and Shawn Headed For Divorce?

“Days of Our Lives” fans are in for a surprise when Belle Black comes home to Salem to be with her family, including husband Shawn Douglas Brady. The “DOOL” super couple will be on the edge of divorce, and fans will likely get the whole story when Martha Madison returns to reprise the role of Belle.

According to the Inquisitr, a new sneak peek at “Days of Our Lives” episodes to come reveal that Belle will return to be with family, including Shawn, as his father Bo recently found out he has terminal brain cancer. However, after embracing, Shawn and Belle sneak out for a private conversation where Shawn tells his wife that he’s already forgiven her for cheating on him once, and that he’d be a fool to do it again. Later, Belle is seen telling her parents, John and Marlena, that she and Shawn are done and that they’re “getting a divorce.”

Did Belle cheat on Shawn, and if so, with who? The last time “Days of Our Lives” viewers saw a Belle and Shawn cheating situation was when Belle slept with her ex-husband, Philip Kiriakis. The entire situation ended up leaving Belle and Shawn broken, but forgiving of each other’s pasts and Philip left Salem.

However, now that Belle and Shawn will be back on “Days of Our Lives” it seems only right that Philip return as well. The character will come home just in time for Christmas this year, and could possibly stir up a lot of past anger for Shawn, his former best friend.

Philip will also come in contact with Belle and Shawn’s daughter, Claire, whom he believed to be his own daughter for some time. Will Philip be in awe of Claire who has now grown in to a teenager?

It should be interesting to see how it all plays out for Belle and Shawn on “Days of Our Lives,” and if Philip’s return will put a further strain on their marriage?
