Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that some beloved characters will be returning for the holiday festivities in Salem. The soap opera will bring back three familiar faces this month (via Soaps). These characters will return to give updates on what they’ve been doing since the last time viewers saw them. They may also further the storyline with some interesting new plot twists.

As the holidays quickly approach, Salem is gearing up to celebrate. Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm that Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will return to Salem. Fans will likely remember that Eli left town with his twins, Jules and Carver after his wife Lani Price (Sal Stowers) turned herself in for the murder of her biological father. Lani is now in prison, and Eli and the children move from Salem to be closer to her. However, this Christmas will bring Eli back to town and his family and friends will be thrilled to see him. Of course, his grandmother Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will be over the moon to have Eli back.

Although many Days of Our Lives fans likely miss seeing Eli Grant on their TV screens each day, it doesn’t seem likely that he’s back to stay. Sadly, Eli will probably leave again following the Salem holiday celebration. Although, it will be nice to see him and hopefully the twins as well.

In addition, Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) — One of DOOL’s most iconic characters — will also be back in Salem for Christmas. It’s been a terrible year for Jennifer. Her daughter Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller) was tragically murdered by Clyde Weston. Following Abby’s death, Jennifer also relapsed on prescription pills. She realized that she needed help and called her brother, Dr. Mike Horton. Mike helped Jennifer get into a rehab facility, where she received treatment. Now it seems that Jen has finished her program and will come home to celebrate the holidays with her family.

Jennifer has been in and out of Salem for the past few years. This means fans will just have to wait and see if she sticks around. Perhaps she and her husband, Jack Deveraux will go back to Boston, where they lived prior to Abigail’s murder. Either way, fans will love seeing Jen place her personalized ornament on the Horton family tree this year.

The third former character that will return to Days of Our Lives for the holidays is Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). Rex is the son of Roman Brady and Kate Roberts. He was absent from Salem for many years before returning as the fiance of Sarah Horton.

Rex also helped out when his mother, Kate, and her close friends Kayla Brady and Marlena Evans were exposed to a toxin that threatened their life. Now, he’ll return to celebrate Christmas in Salem with his parents, and his half-siblings such as Eric Brady.

Days of Our Lives spoilers tell us that the holidays will be interesting in Salem this year, and fans won’t want to miss a minute of the action.
