Days of Our Lives spoilers for upcoming episodes suggest that fans will be seeing some beloved characters return in the weeks to come.
Viewers of the long running NBC soap opera have watched plenty of character exits over the past few months. Some of the most popular characters have been written off the landscape and left Salem. While departures are apart of soaps, it’s always sad to see fan favorites go.
Thankfully, it looks like many familiar faces will be seen again very soon. Soap Dirt reports that characters such as Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) and her big brother Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will soon be back in town.
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers suggest big character returns
The duo left Salem with their father, Eduardo, earlier this year. They were forced to skip town and flee to Mexico. The family was in danger due to their father’s trouble with some very dangerous people. This forced Gabi to be away from her daughter, Ariana. She also left her budding romance with Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) just after they had forged a bond.
When Gabi comes home she’ll find out that Jake has been hitting the sheets with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), and she’ll likely have plenty to say about it.
Meanwhile, Rafe will be heartbroken when he comes home and finds out that the woman he loves, ex-wife Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso), has also left town. Hope decided to get out of Salem following the presumed death of her daughter, Ciara Brady.
As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, there is speculation that Rafe may end up getting romantic with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), now that she and Eric Brady (formerly Greg Vaughan) are thousands of miles apart.
In addition, Will Horton (Chandler Massey) is also said to be heading home soon. Will will visit his family back home, including his younger sister Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). He’ll likely want to spend some time with his sibling and her newborn son, Henry. However, while he’s hanging with Allie, he’s bound to find out that she has accused Tripp of assaulting her when they met each other in London.
Tony and Anna DiMera will also be headed home for the holiday season. The couple haven’t been seen on the show for months. The holidays will be the perfect time for viewers to see what they’ve been up to.
Ciara Brady shockingly returns from the dead
Finally, and most shockingly, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) is said to be returning home. She’ll be back with her husband, Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) before the end of the year. It will be a Christmas miracle for Ben. He’s been devastated since he was told the love of his life was murdered.
Days of Our Lives fans will get to see all of the stunning returns play out when the soap opera airs weekdays afternoons on NBC.
