“Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that there is a lot going on in Salem right now. With November sweeps just around the corner, the drama is set to intensify. One thing that viewers are likely to see is the surprising team-up of EJ DiMera and Sloan Petersen.
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Will EJ and Sloan hatch a plan together?
The latest “Days of Our Lives” spoilers suggest that there is a big storyline ahead for EJ and Sloan. Of course, the two are connected through Nicole’s pregnancy. Currently, Nicole Walker is pregnant with what she believes to be EJ’s child. However, what she doesn’t know is that Sloan changed the DNA test results. In reality, Nicole’s ex-husband, Eric Brady, is the father of the baby. Sloan, who is dating Eric, doesn’t want to lose her man. So, she did what so many other Salemites before her have done. She changed the paternity test results.
Of course, the big baby news is going to be revealed in the very near future. However, before Nicole and Eric actually find out about the paternity of their child, EJ might learn the news. If that happens, speculation has EJ and Sloan forging a plan together to keep their perspective partners and continue the baby lie. Of course, nothing stays a secret in Salem for long. Once Eric and Nicole get wind of their partners’ betrayals, it’s a likely path back to romance for the former couple.
EJ and Nicole have a messy history with pregnancies
Many “Days of Our Lives” fans may remember that EJ and Nicole’s history is very rocky, especially when it comes to children. The couple have been married twice in the past. EJ has also gotten Nicole pregnant on two occasions. Sadly, she lost both of those pregnancies. The second time around, Nicole did the unthinkable and faked her pregnancy following her miscarriage.
Instead of telling EJ the truth about the baby, Nicole found a doctor to help her. She also found a young woman named Mia who agreed to allow Nicole to adopt her child. At the same time, Sami Brady was also pregnant with EJ’s baby. Sami was hiding the pregnancy from EJ. Sami and Mia went into labor at the same time, and Nicole saw an opportunity. She swapped what would have been her adopted child with Sami and EJ’s daughter, Sidney. Nicole brought Sidney home and raised her for the first few months of her life. Once the truth about Sidney became public, Nicole kidnapped the child. Sidney was later reunited with her biological parents.
It seems that “Days of Our Lives” viewers won’t see EJ and Nicole share a child together. However, it does seem fitting that she will have a baby with the love of her life, Eric Brady.
