Celeb Dirty Laundry reports that former controversial “The Young and The Restless” star Michael Muhney may be moving over to “Days of Our Lives” as the new EJ DiMera.
It’s clear that Michael Muhney won’t be returning to “The Young and The Restless” as Adam Newman, so why not take on the character of EJ DiMera in James Scott’s absence?
Muhney was a fan favorite on “Y&R,” and James Scott a favorite on “Days of Our Lives,” but would “DOOL” fans accept him as the new EJ DiMera?

While it seems more likely that both EJ and Sami, played by Alison Sweeney, will leave Salem for the foreseeable future, fans may not be on board with a recasting of one or both EJ and Sami.
Meanwhile, rumblings that Peter Reckell, who formerly played Bo Brady, could be returning “Days of Our Lives” sparked rumors this week, but were quickly shot down, as it seems Bo will not return to Salem to stop the divorce from wife Hope, who is currently falling for lawyer, Aiden Jennings.
