The latest Days of Our Lives wedding news has been confirmed by actor Brian Datillo, who plays Lucas Horton on the show. Datillo says the wedding will be “a typical Salem wedding where things don’t go the way they’re supposed to–except fireworks.
It looks like the wedding news won’t be happy for some Salem residents. Adrienne’s son, Sonny Kiriakis, won’t be thrilled that his mother is marrying his late husband’s father, Lucas. Sonny, played by the soon returning Freddie Smith, reportedly wants his mother and father to get back together. Meanwhile, Lucas’ mother, Kate Roberts, will also not be thrilled by the big announcement.
Will Adrienne’s ex-husband, Justin Kiriakis, interrupt the wedding in hopes of getting the love of his life back? In Salem, anything is possible!

According to the Inquisitr, there are several Days of Our Lives weddings in the works for the summer, and John and Marlena could possibly be walking down the aisle as well. Shawn and Belle and Brady and Theresa could also say their I do’s very soon, along with Steve and Kayla.
It looks like a summer of love on DOOL, and fans can’t wait to see how it all plays out.
