Days of Our Lives spoilers are suggesting that there could be a surprising twist ahead for viewers. It looks like there may be some couple-shuffling in store as the cast continues to change.
Recently, rumors have been flying that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) may be getting a new man. Nicole is currently married to the love of her life, Eric Brady (Formerly Greg Vaughan). However, Eric has left Salem and is currently doing important work in Africa.
The couple vowed to stay together and work through all of the tribulations that offer them obstacles. However, it looks like there may be a point where Nicole and Eric’s marriage falls apart and she seeks solitude in the arms of her friend, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
‘Days of Our Lives’ spoilers suggest Nicole and Rafe headed towards romance
Rafe is currently not in Salem, but fans know that he’s headed back to the soap. He’ll like be heartbroken when he comes home, as he’ll learn that Hope Brady (formerly Kristian Alfonso) has skipped town.
Before Rafe left to head to Mexico with his father Eduardo and his sister Gabi (Camila Banus), he and Hope were on the fast track to getting back together. Sadly, the death of Hope’s daughter, Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) left her shattered and she couldn’t face staying in Salem without her youngest child.
When and if this happens, Nicole and Rafe will surely be feeling very lonely and sad. The duo could rekindle their former friendship, which will likely lead to a romance. Nicole will be busy raising her daughter, Holly Jonas, whom she shares with her late former fiance, Daniel Jonas (formerly Shawn Christian). Rafe has always wanted a family of his own, and has often helped raise his female counterparts children.
The fan favorite characters have shared some emotional scenes in the past
Rafe would seemingly be happy to raise Holly and love every second of watching the little girl grow. He may also be a good fit for a changed Nicole. The character has settled down her scheming and become a more well-rounded, calm, and settled since she’s become a mother and a wife to Eric.
Recently actress Arianne Zucker took to Instagram to share a snap of herself and Galen Gering at a photoshoot. That post raised a ton of questions about whether or not Nicole and Rafe will end up together. The pics seemingly hinting that the duo could become Days of Our Lives‘ next big couple.
