Days of Our Lives spoilers have been rolling in, and it seems that Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) marriage to Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is over. Sarah has had divorce papers drawn up and she’s ready to move on. She is tired of Xander’s scheming and criminal activity, although the couple obviously still love each other. However, if Sarah and Xander are really over, new romance could bloom.
Many Days of Our Lives fans would agree that Sarah and Xander are one of Salem’s most loved couples. However, they’ve never been able to find their footing as a couple. The duo had multiple botched weddings. In addition, they’ve also been separated for long periods of time when Sarah was kidnapped by Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Days of Our Lives spoilers: Are Sarah and Xander really over?
While Sarah was out of the picture, Xander fell in love with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). The couple seemed like a very good match for one another. They’re both misunderstood at times. They’ve also made some very big mistakes in the past that they regret. However, they strive to be better people, despite their downfalls. However, their wedding was ruined when Xander found out that Gwen helped Kristen kidnap Sarah. If Sarah and Xander are truly done for good, he may find himself drawn back to Gwen, who has always had his back and loved him no matter what.
Meanwhile, Sarah might also be looking to move on. Since there are not a ton of single men in Salem, she may find herself in the arms of her ex, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). “Days of Our Lives” fans may remember that Sarah and Eric previously had a relationship that resulted in pregnancy. Sarah opted to hide the fact that Eric was her baby’s father so that Eric could reunite with Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker).
Sarah could end up with Eric
Sadly, after giving birth to her daughter, Mickey, the baby died. The baby was switched at the hospital with Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) daughter, Rachel. Sarah raised Rachel as Mickey for a year before the baby swap was discovered and she was heartbroken to say goodbye to the little girl.
However, now that Eric and Nicole have split things could be different. Although Eric has been loosely hooking up with Sloan Petersen, Sarah is a much better match for him. Sarah and Eric have a history together. They were compatible, albeit a bit vanilla. However, they do have the potential to be something great.
Only time will tell how Sarah’s relationships will work out. However, many fans are rooting for the couple known as “Xarah” to eventually get back together.
