“Days of Our Lives” spoilers suggest that viewers may see the shocking end of an iconic couple. Fans of the long-running soap opera know that there are plenty of legendary couples in Salem. Currently, the most beloved pairings include John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). Sadly, it seems that the duo of Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) could be headed for disaster.
As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, Martha Madison is on her way out of Salem. The fan-favorite actress has played the role of Belle Black Brady for two decades. However, she’s ready to move on from “DOOL” after admitting that her character hasn’t been getting any important storylines. Because of Madison’s upcoming exit, Belle and Shawn’s relationship is in the air.
Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest a split between Shawn and Belle
It’s a definite possibility that Bell and Shawn will call it quits. The couple has split in the past. However, like many other “Days of Our Lives” couples, they always find their way back to each other. Now that Belle is confirmed to leave the soap, what will become of Shawn? He could leave Salem with Belle. However, Shawn is currently in the middle of plenty of Salem drama. Shawn was recently named police commissioner. He’s also in the middle of a personal crisis after shooting his father, Bo Brady (Peter Reckell), and putting him in a coma.
Of course, Bell and Shawn have been dealing with a lot of stress to their marriage over the past couple of years. In addition to Shawn’s guilt over shooting Bo, Belle strayed from their marriage. The couple nearly crumbled when Belle cheated on Shawn with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel). The affair came after it was believed that Shawn had gotten Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) pregnant thanks to a devious scheme orchestrated by the devil. (Yes, it was during the possession storyline).
DOOL fans may see the end of the super couple
The problems that Shawn and Belle have experienced over the past few years have taken a toll on them. Sadly, this could be the end of the super couple for the foreseeable future. While Martha Madison could choose to return to “Days of Our Lives” in the future, a painful goodbye may be in the near future for the beloved pairing.
