“Days of Our Lives” seems to be headed in a dangerous direction when it comes to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). It looks like the DiMera family is back up to their old tricks, and Stefan will be the center of some major drama going forward. Sadly, his wife, Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), won’t be by his side.
Will Stefan betray his marriage?
“Days of Our Lives” fans already know that Gabi was sent to prison for the murder of her former love, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman). This leaves Stefan alone in Salem and up to his own devices. Of course, Stefan will go a bit off the rails without the love of his life with him.
Recently, Stefan looked to get into business with Clyde Weston (James Read). Clyde is the same man who ordered Stefan’s brother EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) to be killed. Clyde also murdered Stefan’s sister-in-law Abigail Deveraux DiMera (Marci Miller). By working with Clyde, Stefan is going against his family. However, he may also betray Gabi as well.
Speculation claims that Stefan may step outside of his marriage to Gabi, and end up in bed with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Stefan and Ava will seemingly be working together when it comes to their criminal activity.
A new love triangle may be heating up in Salem
As previously reported by Hollywood News Daily, Ava is currently getting romantic with Harris Michaels (Steve Burton). However, Harris is working with the Salem Police now. Ava’s criminal wouldn’t be accepted by him if he knew. On the other hand, Stefan would readily accept a devious woman. Either way, a love triangle may be in order.
In addition, Ava may also have a soft spot for Stefan. The character has a very complicated love life. She was previously in love with and engaged to Stefan’s identical twin brother, Jake DiMera. After Jake’s death, his heart was used to bring Stefan from a vegetative state and reunite him with Gabi. Unfortunately, the couple weren’t reunited for long. Banus announced her exit from the soap opera, and viewers immediately began to speculate about what would become of the fan-favorite couple.
Will the DiMeras turn on Stefan?
Unless “Days of Our Lives” is planning to recast the role of Gabi Hernandez, fans may have to get used to seeing Stefan with another woman. Ava is a very likely choice. However, the couple working with Clyde could lead to huge trouble for them both, especially Stefan. His family hates Clyde for many reasons. They could turn on him if they find out his secret.
On the other hand, with Gabi in prison, she and Stefan may come to the conclusion that they should divorce. This would free up Stefan for a new love interest and less guilt about moving on from his marriage.
