The character of Sami Brady was first introduced to Days of Our Lives viewers by then-head writer Margaret DePriest. She knew talent and charisma when she spotted it when 16-year-old Alison Sweeney walked onto the soap set.
Alison was hired on the spot to play the troubled teenage daughter of Marlena Evans and Roman Brady. Quite the opposite personality of her tv twin brother Eric Brady, Sami came onto the scene reeking havok and has yet to stop.
Alison Sweeney is a daytime television staple and a beloved fan-favorite cast member. Over the years, Sami has never failed to get her man. Once she set her sights on her target, there was no stopping her.
Sami stops at nothing to get her man
Sami has never cared what she has had to do or who she has hurt when getting her man, even if it meant destroying her half-sister Carrie Brady’s life. Throughout the years, Sami has been involved with some of Salem’s sexiest and most desired men.

Sami Brady’s Many Trips Down The Aisle
If you think Alison Sweeney’s Days of Our Lives Character has a lot of lovers, then you will be doubly impressed by the number of weddings that Sami has walked down the aisle in; according to WhatHappensInSalem.com, the infamous Sami Brady has walked down the aisle a total of 15 times.
During Sami’s first two weddings, the groom title belonged to Austin Reed. In her third wedding, Franco Kelly, number four, finds Austin Reed back on deck, and her fifth groom was Brandon Walker.
Weddings six and seven go to Lucas Roberts, while her eighth, and we are not making this up, brings Sami back to Austin Reed. In the ninth attempt, Lucas Roberts returns to the rotation, and ten and eleven go to Ej DiMera.
The final four weddings to date are Rafe Hernandez- Rafe Hernandez, Ej Dimera, and finally, back around to Lucas. So how does this all tally up for Sami Brady? So as you can see, Sami Brady has a few types when it comes to men. During her run with Days of Our Lives from 1993- 2014, Alison Sweeney won numerous awards for her role as Sami Brady. She earned a Daytime Emmy Award nomination, four Soap Opera Digest Awards, and a Fan Voted Daytime Emmy Award.
Unfortunately, Alison Sweney’s character of Sami Brady is no longer a regular. However, her memory and legacy live on with her fans.
