Is “Dead To Me” Season 4 happening? The popular Netflix series aired debuted its third season on November 17, and fans went to the streaming service to devour the 10 new episodes starring former “Married With Children” actress Christina Applegate and “Daddy’s Home” star Linda Cardellini. Warning: there are spoilers below!

During Season 3 of “Dead To Me,” fans saw a very different Judy and Jen. The besties were, of course, still dealing with the fallout from Steve’s murder, and trying to keep themselves off of the police radar. However, in addition to their ongoing legal troubles, Judy and Jen weren’t prepared for what life had in store for them. Following their hit-and-run accident, caused by Steve’s identical twin brother, Ben, the women were transported to the hospital with injuries. Both Judy and Jen were then given scans to gauge their injuries. Sadly, things took a heartbreaking turn after that.

What happened during “Dead To Me” Season 3?

After Judy’s scans, it was revealed that she had masses inside her body which turned out to be cancer. Jen stood by Judy the entire time she went through chemo. However, the treatment didn’t work and Judy was told that she was terminal. While Judy decided to try to live the rest of her days to the fullest, Jen was struggling. It also didn’t help that she was told that she was pregnant with Ben’s baby.

Eventually, a very pregnant Jen and a dying Judy headed off to Mexico to spend three weeks together. At the end of that time, Judy had seemingly passed away although fans didn’t see her die on screen. Jen went home and reconnected with Ben, and they were later seen living as a happy family with Jen’s two sons and their newborn baby girl, whom they named Joey.

At the end of the season finale, Jen and Ben looked very happy. However, Jen was still holding on to the secret that she had been the one to kill Steve. Jen then remembered what Judy had told her about coming clean with Ben and living in the truth, and seemingly decided to share the information with Ben. The show ended with Judy telling Ben that she wanted to reveal something to him and then cut to black.

Dead To Me Season 4 isn’t happening

Fans may have been a bit confused by the cliffhanger, as Netflix already announced that there would be no “Dead To Me” Season 4, and that the series would end with Season 3, per What’s On Netflix. There is little hope that the show will return. However, stranger things have happened.

Meanwhile, the cliffhanger seems right on par for the series, which kept fans on their toes during the three seasons. It seems that instead, fans will have to use their imagination about what comes next for Jen and Ben and their newly blended family.
