Demi Lovato’s family and friends are growing very concerned for her safety and health. According to Radar Online reports Demi’s family feel that her new boyfriend Henry Levy is a bit shady and that their relationship is going to be ‘each other’s downfall.”
Lovato’s family is super protective of the singer these days and with good reason, they are just looking out for Demi’s well-being. As previously reported, In July, Lovato nearly escaped death after suffering a near-fatal drug overdose back on July 24. A member of Demi’s staff found the singer around 11:30 that same morning. Lovato had to be revived with Narcan and was hospitalized for two weeks before being convinced by family, friends and ex-love Wilmer Valderrama to check into rehab.
Following her rehab stay Lovato, 26, resurfaced telling fans that all was well and that she is never going down that dark path again…ever. However, now that Demi has hooked up with Levy the singer is back to “shutting out her friends and family according to a source close to the Lovato situation.”
According to the source, the singer is avoiding “anyone who tries to come in between her and Henry, basically. She is not playing her recovery well right now. Demi is so head over heels in love with this guy, so she thinks, that she is blind to anyone’s criticism or suggestion,” the insider claimed.
“She is spending all of her time with him and claims that they are each other’s sober companion when, in fact, everyone thinks they are going to be each other’s downfall,” the source told Radar.
Henry Levy does not come into this relationship with clean hands, Radar added that he was accused of stealing money from his family and friends recently.But wait, it gets worse, Levy’s former employee Brendan Thompson filed a lawsuit back in July accusing Levy of drug use racist remarks, fraud, failure to pay and defamation.
Levy’s case is currently ongoing, but, you can see how Demi Lovato’s family and friends are concerned for her well-being.
