Country queen Dolly Parton is invested in helping her longtime friend Billy Ray Cyrus. She is worried about the singer and his family and is begging Billy Ray to heed her advice. Dolly feels it’s her duty to do everything she can to keep her pal from destroying himself and his fractured family.
Billy Ray Cyrus’ January performance at President Donald Trump’s inaugural ball raised concerns for the Achy Breaky Heart singer’s health and well-being from fans and those closest to him. During the performance, Cyrus appeared out of sorts. His performance was far from the Billy Ray Cyrus performances his fans have grown accustomed to over the past several decades.
According to Radar Online reports, Billy Ray Cyrus’ voice was weak and scratchy. So much so that he felt compelled to encourage the audience to sing along. When that did not ease the troubled singer he blamed things on technical difficulties.
To save face, Cyrus asked the sound crew, “Hey, is my guitar still on? I think they cut me off.” Billy Ray finally gave up after an embarrassing performance and exited the stage. The humiliating experience didn’t go unnoticed by the singer’s fans, family, and friends.
In an attempt to reach out to his stepfather, Trace Cyrus posted a lengthy and revealing plea to his stepdad. Trace asked Billy Ray to step back and take a long look at what has become his life. The singer is embroiled in a major family feud with his children, including daughter Miley Cyrus. The family has pleaded with Billy Ray to seek help, however, their attempts have remained unsuccessful.
Dolly Parton Offers To Help Billy Ray Cyrus
Since the catastrophic performance, longtime friend and godmother to Miley Cyrus Dolly Parton has offered Billy Ray Cyrus help. Sources close to the singers tell Radar that Dolly is heartbroken over what is happening in Billy Ray’s life.
“The performance alone was very alarming for Dolly,” our insider said. They added she wants him to enter a rehab facility as soon as possible.
Dolly Parton reportedly feels that Billy Ray Cyrus has been on a downward spiral since his divorce from ex-Tish Cyrus. “Dolly’s beside herself over the turn Billy Ray’s life has taken,” the insider reveals. “To see the family shattered this way is absolutely heartbreaking for her and she feels it’s her duty to step in.”
She’s had a very no-nonsense chat with Billy Ray and told him she’s ready to help him take whatever steps he needs to fix things in his life.”
Unfortunately, Billy Ray rejects Dolly’s help and refuses to go to rehab. He doesn’t believe he has a problem. This is concerning for Parton. She feels helpless and the only thing she can do is sit back to catch him when he falls.
Dolly is reportedly devastated, she wants nothing more than to help Billy Ray reconnect with his family and get his troubled life back on track. However, until Billy Ray Cyrus accepts he needs help, Dolly Parton can only be there as a friend and hope Billy soon comes to his senses before it is too late.
