Actor Dominic West made headlines this week after he was spotted in Rome with his co-star, Lily James. The pair were seen snuggling up together and even kissing as the paparazzi snapped the shots from afar. Of course Dominic is married to another woman, Catherine FitzGerald, which caused some controversy and questions.

During Dominic and Lily’s Roman holiday, the Affair alum wasn’t wearing his wedding ring. However, after reuniting with his wife this week, the couple claimed that their marriage was not in jeopardy.
On Tuesday, October 13, reporters gathered outside of Dominic and Catherine’s London home. It was there that the couple posed for photos and even kissed before handing out sheets of paper that read, “Our marriage is strong and we’re very much still together. Thank you. Catherine and Dominic.”
This sparked even more questions about Dominic’s close encounter with Lily last week. However, it appears that he and his wife are still going strong.
The couple married back in 2010 and share four children together. Dominic also has a child from a previous relationship. He’s best known for playing the role of Noah Solloway on Showtime’s The Affair. However, he’s also appeared on HBO’s The Wire.
Meanwhile, Lily is recognized for her role in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again. She also played Cinderella in Disney’s 2015 live action version. Before that, she portrayed Lady Rose on the hit series, Downton Abbey.
Dominic and Lily are currently filming the miniseries The Pursuit of Love together. Sources claim that the duo are friends after working together in the past, but really bonded over the summer.
“They worked together in the past but seem to have connected in a special way since they started filming in England over the summer,” a source told People Magazine.

Lily has been romantically linked to The Crown actor Matt Smith. The couple were together for five years before splitting. They briefly reconnected last year, but that was short lived. Most recently, she was rumored to be dating Avengers star, Chris Evans.
Lily and Chris were seen together over the summer when they celebrated the Fourth of July in each other’s company. They were spotted together a few days later while grabbing ice cream on what appeared to be a date. However, they have not been seen together in public since then.
At the time of publication Lily has not made a public statement about the photos of herself with Dominic in Rome.
