Doris Roberts, the fan favorite actress from “Everybody Loves Raymond” has died. The actress was 90-years-old.

According to Fansided, Doris Roberts died in L.A. on Sunday at the age of 90. During her long career, Roberts was well-known for her comic roles not only on “Everybody Loves Raymond,” but also in movies such as “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” and “Grandma’s Boy.”

Doris Roberts is survived by her son, Michael Cannata Jr., whom she had during her first marriage. Roberts’ second husband, William Goyen, died in 1983.

Meanwhile, Doris’ “Everybody Loves Raymond” co-stars are speaking about about the actress’ death. Patricia Heaton, who played Roberts’ on-screen daughter-in-law, Debra, on the show took to her Twitter account to post a sweet message to her late friend.

“Truly the end of an era. My wonderful TV mother-in-law, and ELR nemesis, Doris Roberts, was a consummate professional, from whom I learned so much. She was funny and tough and loved life, living it to the fullest. Nothing gave her greater joy than her three wonderful grandchildren, of whom she was so proud. It truly was a privilege Doris. I love you and miss you.”

Patricia Heaton and Doris Roberts had a special bond on and off screen. Not only did they star together in 9 seasons of “Everybody Loves Raymond,” but Doris also guest starred on Patricia’s current series, “The Middle,” as a teacher to one of Heaton’s character’s children. In true fashion, the women butted heads and delivered hilarious banter between them.

Hollywood will surely miss Doris Roberts, and will continue to mourn her death.
