According to People Magazine, Drew Barrymore’s divorce doesn’t come as a surprise to those close to her as she and Will Kopelman have been dealing with marital issues for some time now.
“They’ve had marriage issues for a while,” an insider revealed of the couple. One of the biggest issues the couple faced was about where to raise their family. “There was tension over where to live,” the source added.
Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman share two daughters together, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, 3, and Frankie Barrymore Kopelman, 1, whom have become the light of Drew’s life.

According to sources, Drew Barrymore has become very attached to Will Kopelman’s parents, and has even spoken out about how Will had the childhood that she never got to have with her parents, whom the actress has had a very rocky history with.
“He was someone who was always reachable on the phone, someone who was a classy human being, someone who has this incredible blueprint of a family that I don’t have,” Drew said of her attraction to Will.
Meanwhile, the couple will presumably reside in New York where Olive goes to preschool and co-parenting their daughters, even though Will Kopelman is said to be “devastated” by the fact that Drew Barrymore allegedly wants to divorce. The couple’s reps have not confirmed the split, but multiple sources are saying the relationship is over.
